From: catzwolf at zarilia dot com Operating system: windows PHP version: 5.2.1 PHP Bug Type: Unknown/Other Function Bug description: Trigger error fails if more than two parameters
Description: ------------ It seems in php 5.2.1 that there is a bug that will render your 'user errorhander' useless if you add more than 2 Parameters for the arguement. Doing something like this will cause the trap to fail and not trapped. I don't think that this sort of behaviour would be by design, so a bug? Reproduce code: --------------- trigger_error( "oops we have a fatal error", E_USER_ERROR, __LINE_ ); Expected result: ---------------- I would expect the user errorhandler to trap the error and display it Actual result: -------------- It is ignored by the user error handler and php internal error handling displays the error instead. -- Edit bug report at http://bugs.php.net/?id=41128&edit=1 -- Try a CVS snapshot (PHP 4.4): http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=41128&r=trysnapshot44 Try a CVS snapshot (PHP 5.2): http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=41128&r=trysnapshot52 Try a CVS snapshot (PHP 6.0): http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=41128&r=trysnapshot60 Fixed in CVS: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=41128&r=fixedcvs Fixed in release: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=41128&r=alreadyfixed Need backtrace: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=41128&r=needtrace Need Reproduce Script: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=41128&r=needscript Try newer version: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=41128&r=oldversion Not developer issue: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=41128&r=support Expected behavior: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=41128&r=notwrong Not enough info: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=41128&r=notenoughinfo Submitted twice: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=41128&r=submittedtwice register_globals: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=41128&r=globals PHP 3 support discontinued: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=41128&r=php3 Daylight Savings: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=41128&r=dst IIS Stability: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=41128&r=isapi Install GNU Sed: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=41128&r=gnused Floating point limitations: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=41128&r=float No Zend Extensions: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=41128&r=nozend MySQL Configuration Error: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=41128&r=mysqlcfg
