When I was still subscribed to php-cvs, I frequently replied
to people in private. Munging reply-to would make that a lot
harder and would screw with the way PHP mailing lists work in
general.
What you should ask is this: "I think we can instruct the
listmanager to set a Mail-Followup-To, would that be a nice
idea?"
