IBM Informix CSDK Version 2.80, IBM Informix-ESQL Version 9.52.UC2
So maybe it would be better as "ESQL Version" if IBM decides to swap CSDK and ESQL version around in the version string ?
Also, maybe it would be good to make it:
IFX_VERSION=[`$INFORMIXDIR/bin/esql -V | grep "ESQL Version" | sed -ne '1 s/\(.*\)ESQL Version \([0-9]*\)\.\([0-9]*\).*/\2\3/p'`]
for when ESQL/C Version 10 comes out ? Currently it only checks for 1 digit as Major version
