Reason: On a system like my RedHat7.3 you still don't have an official update (in case for RH systems: provided using up2date) you neither can install nor upgrade to that version, because it requires GLIBC 2.3 or newer. Updating GLIBC isn't easy and shouldn't be made by non-professionals, while it is very much basic and gets used by almost everything.
