[PHP-DB] Problem with PHP4 and dba_open

When I try to open a file, ex. using command:
$db = dba_open("newfile", "c", "db3");

and run script from the command line, it only says:
"driver initialization failed in test.php line 50."

why? i have extension php_db and php_dba (and some others) included in as
modules. so.. what's wrong?
