Unfortunately this is not an option, as it will mess up other applications 
that are dependent on the ldap server.  The entries need to be made in the 
server, and they must have a null value if there is nothing to go in.  

It was working fine with openldap 1.2.13, but with openldap 2.x, its a no go, 
and it is causing a lot of problems.
