Okay. I tried using that too. If I run this:
<?php
$link = mysql_connect('localhost', 'root',

'Password123');
if (!$link) {
    die('Could not connect: ' . mysql_error());
}
echo 'Connected successfully';
mysql_close($link);
?>

I get the error: *Fatal error*: Call to undefined function mysql_connect()
in *C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Apache2.2\htdocs\a.php* on
line *2

*I think there is something wrong with my configuration.
