Does this happen when using the latest CVS snapshot from http://snaps.php.net/ ? 2. What was the configure line used to compile PHP? 3. Can you create some short script which can be used to reproduce this? --Jani --------------------------------------------------------------------------- [2001-03-13 01:08:14] [EMAIL PROTECTED] We are running PHP on Apache 1.3.14. Each developer has his own copy of the site running on a virtual host. The production site runs on port 80 (not a virtual host). When unauthenticated clients type in a URL, they are redirected to a login page. After entering valid credentials, the browser cycles in an infinite loop between their next destination and the login page. This only occurs when port 80 is explicitly specified in the URL. Explicit port numbers work fine for all virtual hosts. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- ATTENTION! Do NOT reply to this email!
