From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Operating system: Conectiva Linux 6 (a Red Hat based Linux) PHP version: 4.0.4pl1 PHP Bug Type: OCI8 related Bug description: canīt connect to oracle with NLS_LANG="BRAZILIAN PORTUGUESE_BRAZIL.WE8ISO8859P1 When I try to connect to oracle 8.1.6 or 8.1.7 configured with NLS_LANG="BRAZILIAN PORTUGUESE_BRAZIL.WE8ISO8859P1" I get the message "Warning: OCISessionBegin: Error while trying to retrieve text for error ORA-03106 in /usr/local/apache/htdocs/teste3.php on line 3" I can connect to another oracle server with default installation and the same versions of apache, linux, php and oracle. I put the variables NLS_LANG and ORACLE_HOME into apache initialization script but it didnīt work.
