Check the php.ini file for arg_separator.output
directive. This is the old arg_separator directive.

(There is also arg_separator.input but it's safe to leave
it untouched.)

When the session code adds the SID to the end of the <a
href> it does it like:
 <a href="test.php?q=something&SID=123123123">

The & should be &amp;.  It fails on HTML4 validation.

I can't get my pages to validate currently.
