I have a similar problem with the latest CVS (few minutes ago). When I run
the configure script, it spills out this following message:

Configuring libtool
checking build system type... i686-pc-linux-gnu
checking for ld used by GCC... (cached) /usr/bin/ld
checking if the linker (/usr/bin/ld) is GNU ld... (cached) yes
checking for BSD-compatible nm... (cached) /usr/bin/nm -B
./ltconfig: ./ltconfig: No such file or directory
configure: error: libtool configure failed

No idea whats wrong. If anyone needs more information on my configuration
or whatever, please let me know.

Cheers,
Joao
