This is vice versa also....when I use mysql.exe to create a table which has Icelandic characters in it's name and list it with mysql.exe it's ok but when I do it with php the signscome back. Also I can't use uppercase letters...the mysql server always changes them to lowercase...this did not happend when I used PHP 4.0.3pl1 and mySQL 3.22.33 Please tell me how to correct this error I can't even write my own name in the database without some fuck ups Andri Mar Jónsson --------------------------------------------------------------------------- The remainder of the comments for this report are too long.
