Description: date() reporting wrong timezone
we have since switched from solaris to linux and it works fine.

Works fine for me. Might be Solaris specific thing.
Does PHP 4.0.5 work any better?

doing a "date" from the console shows the timezone as PDT. date("I") returns 1, but
date("T") reports PST.
