with the same configuration, php 4.0.5 if file exists check/or some filesystem
functions are remarkably slower than on 4.0.1pl2, wich i previosly used.
there is more heavy stuff going on in my code aswell, so i might have to dig deeper to
find out, why the webpage is loading 5-10 times slower, using php 4.0.5, rather than
4.0.1 .
could this be true?
