"zend_error()" should be read in the summary, my mistake. ---------- I have to use 4.0.4pl1, because the customer says so. libhostphp.so is a self written php extension module, working fine for a year under Linux, 4.0.4pl1 too. I think the problem is a missing linker option for linking apache, one that presents the entries of php (zend_error etc) to dynamic loaded modules. As far as I know is zend_error() included in php and this is in apache.
