this function incorectly works with national symbols
echo eregi_replace("ààà","ááá","ÀÀÀáðà")
shoud return "ááááðà", but it does not
match that "À" is uppercase("à") :(((
Very, VERY bad bug, really :((
PHP 3.0.6 seems to be OK
