Some of you may know that Apche for Cygwin binaries are available from http://apache.dev.wapme.net/packages/. This includes PHP-4.0.6 with mysql and pgsql.
Some people prefer developing inside a Cygwin window/enviroment/shell or whatever you want to call it. I'm on of those people. Mostly because I can do lots of unix-like things including using X and I know when I do something under cygwin there's a much higher probability of it working under Linux than when I dev something on Windows. Plus I can use ssh-agents and so on. I've managed to compile a cgi version of PHP for cygwin. Yes the current win32 version works but now there's a nicely self-contained version for cygwin. I can provide a patch for 4.0.6 if anyone is at all interested.
