I noticed other similar bugs received some level of attention along the lines of 'is this fixed now?' then 'no response from user, closing'. But seemingly this bug of mine hasn't even shown up on the php-dev list (I tried a subject search for 12095). It also doesn't seem to show up in any searches on bugs.php.net for open 'pconnect' bugs. There could be two bugs at play here, one php related and one bugs.php.net related ;-)
Anyway, I'd like to see someone atleast taking notice of this bug. Completely destroying and rebuilding connections is one major slowdown a large site of mine is experiencing when using mssql, I've tried other connection methods (odbc and ado) but they don't seem to properly utilise pconnect either. I'm not subscribed to this list but I'll monitor for replies via either the newsgroup or geocrawler. -rawhide -- PHP Development Mailing List <http://www.php.net/> To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To contact the list administrators, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
