In a chat application that connects to a server (ie., a www gateway to IRC), after connecting, nothing can be written to the socket (it just gets stuck - only reads). *Please* check this by installing and running phpChat and phpIRC, from http://www.phpwizard.net/ - I have a chat application and I'm having to use PHP3 *just* because of this bug.
