I guess my main worry is to have the bug database end up as a discussion forum. I would rather have dicussions on the mailing list and have someone with a CVS account go and add relevant information to the report when necessary. But I guess it isn't easy for an outsider to figure out where the mailing list to discuss the bug happens to be.
