Greetings, Apache Error: Cannot load /usr/local/apache/libexec/libphp3.so into server: /usr/local/apache/libexec/libphp3.so: undefined symbol: uncompress compiling --with-mysql=/... will result in Apache spitting out an error when trying to load the php module. This is because the APXS_LDFLAGS is missing the -lz symbol. This should either be noted in the INSTALL.* directions or be included. NOTE: this is in 3.x and 4.x. FYI, the APXS_LDFLAGS variable should be called LDLIBRARIES in version 3.x Sorry to gripe. =) Thanks, Michael Howell Previous Comments: ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2001-12-20 15:32:16] [EMAIL PROTECTED] Greetings, Apache Error: Cannot load /usr/local/apache/libexec/libphp3.so into server: /usr/local/apache/libexec/libphp3.so: undefined symbol: uncompress compiling --with-mysql=/... will result in Apache spitting out an error when trying to load the php module.
