Are you implying to businesses that if they invest in your features, you do not intend to complete them? ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2000-11-12 04:00:29] [EMAIL PROTECTED] Nobody ever claimed that PHP was an OO language. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2000-11-12 03:24:44] [EMAIL PROTECTED] The lack of an automatic class destructor makes it impossible to make code completely OO. For example, we have a Table class which outputs an HTML <TABLE> with error checking. It is impossible to detect the case where Table::EndTable() is not called (</TABLE> not issued) because class destructors do not exist in the PHP4 language. PLEASE CORRECT THIS GLARING DEFICIENCY ASAP! I am a prolific commercial programming of $million products (Corel Painter, Cool Page, etc). PHP4 is a an incredible tool. We are considering purchasing the new compiler technology. So please fix this silly omission. Please. Please. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Edit this bug report at http://bugs.php.net/?id=7766&edit=1 -- PHP Development Mailing List <http://www.php.net/> To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To contact the list administrators, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
