I have in php.ini file the following string

session.save_path = /some/directory/sessions

i.e. session.save_path differs from default /tmp directory/

But it doesn't work!!

All sessions files appear in /tmp directory anyway.

I use Apache 1.3.22 on Solaris 8 + PHP 4.1.1

Setting in php.ini session.name to something different also fails.
