I just wanted to come out publicly in support of Zeev's decision, even though I must say it was probably poorly executed (namely, by not mentioning it to the rest of us).
Just my opinion, of course, but there it is. This is an Open Source project, and we all get rather passionate about it (c.f., my involvement in the "_()" discussion)...but there are some prices that are too high.
