The format specifiers are just place holders, they don't modify the behavior of adjacent specifiers. 'iS' does not work. 'S' is tied directly to the current day of the month, so the only thing that makes sense while using 'S' is either 'd' or 'j' (i.e. 'dS' or 'jS').
I suppose we could introduce new 'english suffix' specifiers for month of the year, etc, etc. but that is just cludgy and confusing, IMHO.
