Look at the fourth parameter of zend_hash_find(), it's the wrong type. You may want to read other modules sources how it's done.
Btw, for such simple things you don't need an apache to spot things. You can use the CGI (even if you don't get an immidiate crash). Turn on debugging (make sure your extension contains debugging code too, if in doubt use appropriate CFLAGS when running configure) and fire gdb over it.
