Guys, ext/gd/config.m4 needs to be fixed before 4.2 goes out. Right now it does a terrible job detecting gd2/freetype2 TTF functions as the tests are missing the required -lfreetype. Rolling back to config.m4 from the 4.1.2 release makes everything work just fine.
