Hi, The current API is the one targeted being marked stable in 4.3. If I would not be sure about it, I wouldn't have started documenting the most important socket functions. IMHO it's pretty save to translate the functions I've documented so far (but I can't/won't speak for the function whose documentation I haven't reviewed).
