The patch merely allows the user to do
AddType application/x-httpd-php-source .phps
and make Apache 2 handle the .phps as highlighted PHP source in an exact same
manner Apache 1 does. Unless there are plans to drop .phps support entirely,
then the patch is still relavent. When the new way source highliting is
implemented, the framework in Apache 2 will already be there to make this
possible with minimum effort.
