Hi Jan, I had this same problem with some of the streams files. It was (apparently) due to someone doing a "cvs watch on". Jim fixed this by tweaking the repository.
What's strange is that both the streams files and those sysvmsg files were created by me, (although my umask is the usual 022)... so maybe Big Brother is watching me?? :-) --Wez.
