Yes. Sounds like the best way to do it. We do need 'some' mechanism to test if it works. Test can then be expanded to whatever implementation arrises. Shall we make the description GNU Libiconv blabla ? When the ICONV_ constants are available, we can SKIP it when non-gnu is detected. >"Melvyn Sopacua" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > > msopacua Wed Oct 9 19:16:39 2002 EDT > > > > Added files: > > /php4/ext/iconv/tests translit-utf8.inc translit-utf8.phpt > > Quotes.UTF-8 > > Log: > > Test for standard transliteration. > > Original check-translit from GNU libiconv-1.8 > > > > > > > > Index: php4/ext/iconv/tests/translit-utf8.inc > > +++ php4/ext/iconv/tests/translit-utf8.inc > > <?php // vim600: syn=php > > error_reporting(E_ALL); > > $utf = implode('', file('ext/iconv/tests/Quotes.UTF-8')); > > > > print(iconv("UTF-8", "ISO-8859-1//TRANSLIT", $utf)); > > print(iconv("UTF-8", "ASCII//TRANSLIT", $utf)); > > ?> > > > > Index: php4/ext/iconv/tests/translit-utf8.phpt > > +++ php4/ext/iconv/tests/translit-utf8.phpt > > --TEST-- > > Translit UTF-8 quotes > > --SKIPIF-- > > <?php include('skipif.inc'); ?> > > --FILE-- > > <?php include('003.inc'); ?> > > --EXPECT-- > > "Hello" > > `Hello$B%((B > > "Hello" > > `Hello$B%((B > > "Hello" > > 'Hello' > > "Hello" > > 'Hello' > > >-- >PHP CVS Mailing List (http://www.php.net/) >To unsubscribe, visit: http://www.php.net/unsub.php With kind regards, Melvyn Sopacua <?php include("not_reflecting_employers_views.txt"); ?> -- PHP Development Mailing List <http://www.php.net/> To unsubscribe, visit: http://www.php.net/unsub.php
