Look at the code: #ifdef HAVE_GETOPT_LONG struct option *longopts = NULL; int longindex = 0; #endif struct only defined, when HAVE_GETOPT_LONG is defined. line 1521 is the only reference to struct longopts that is not protected. Don't see how buildconf could help, and I even did that.
