You atleast missed one thing... there is no php 4.2.3pre1. Also, as you didn't specify any procedure on how you compiled we can not help you. But I could compile it fine, so please write to the [EMAIL PROTECTED] list for support. If you're certain it's a bug, feel free to write to this list.
