I find this thread incredably offensive and unconstructive. While I do believe Paul can be a bit vigorous at timea in the end he is always trying to point us in the right direction.
I personally have found the administration on this mailing list to be subpar at best over the past few months and I often feel it has actively contributed to the problems. I think this thread is case and point. This could have been handled in a much better way.
