Is it time to call FIG complete? As someone who feels like FIG 3.0 is a step in the right direction, and can empathize with those against it, I'd like to offer an observation:
Maybe it's time to call FIG complete. FIG accomplished it's primary goals (Bringing frameworks together to build interoperable packages / standards). Now FIG is digging into areas that don't fit frameworks and is struggling to find it's identity - as if it's lost. I don't think FIG is lost, I think FIG is fighting to stay relevant when the mission has been accomplished.
