Hi all,
There are quite a number of us at php[world] this year and the
kind/awesome/generous/{insert nice adjective here} folks at php[architect]
have given us a some space for both a FIG meeting and a FIG Q&A session
(Similar to what was done earlier in the year at Midwest PHP).
*The meeting will take place at 4:30pm on Thursday in Ash Grove C*. In this
meeting we can discuss a number of different things such as the current
specifications, some new proposals that are currently being aired and FIG
3.0. This is open to anyone but it's aimed towards people involved in the
FIG or relevant to various discussions or who want to be involved in the
FIG.
*The FIG Q&A session will take place at 9am on Friday in Ash Grove C* and
is designed to mimic the successful Q&A we had at Midwest PHP and will be
aimed at informing the wider community about the FIG and letting them ask
questions about how it works/what it works on etc. This is designed for all
conference attendees from those who have never heard of the FIG to people
more involved.
I look forward to seeing many of you there and feel free to spread the word
to others who might be interested in attending.
Many thanks,
Michael
