Ah yes, but even that goes back to the Learning HTML days. "When you
open a tag, immediately create the closing tag."

Out of habit, you'll eventually stop making that mistake.

Likewise, if you get into the habit of doing <? ?> or ?> <? in tandem,
your worries will soon disappear.
