You would probably be better off using an apache module for this. Something like Mod Auth MySQL It would be easy to make the module set a few enviroment variables if you need to pass info to php.
yeah but my question is: is it possible to write an apache module in PHP. or do something real close to that ?
please some answer my question and don't give me something else i could do. I am not a newbie i know what i need, and i also know what else i could use.
