Cant be done mate, do it like this...
switch ($val){
case "FFS":
case "FHG":
case "FRG":
//stuff
break;
case "DPT":
case "DL":
case "DF":
case "DI":
case "DO":
//stuff
break;
}
The cases pass through each other till they hit a 'break'
