Safe mode is off, suexec is turned on. In the logfiles, I see that suexec engine is turned on or something like that, the path is correct too. Suexec and the virtualhost are configured alright because for cgi programs, it does work: changes uid and reports this in the logfile without any errors. The problem is that it does nothing for *.php in the same virtualhost with the same configuration. No uid change, no message in the logfile (not even any errors).
