Hi all, as most of you know nearly all of us were blacklisted by spamcop a few days back, some of our mail was undeliverable to a lot of people as their ISPs use these spam databases...and today i got this email and i am pretty sure quite a few must have gotten something simular or will be getting, I think this is proof that someone has spammed using our legit email addresses: This was the message i got:
Do not forward or sell my information. Remove me from your distribution list. If anymore emails come from this address they will be forwarded to the FTC and to the department that deals with these type emails for Washington State. If this email comes back undeliverable then it will also be sent to the before mentioned departments with the original email attached. Ryan C. Carson <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> I think this is serious enough for the list owners to do something about keeping our email addresses in "open" format on the list and try to take some precautions so this does not happen again.(I blacked out part of his email address here on purpose) If the spammer who did this reads this message....may you die a very slooooow and painful death you yellow bellied bag of animal crap.
