Sorry Jason, I did read the article but must have been away with the fairies for a moment. I was testing domains that are complete rubbish but they were all .com and .net so yes you were right and I am a complete fool ;o). Now getting an error message 'No such file or directory' when testing on another TLD, strange message for 'domain cannot be found', but hey life would be boring if everyone thought along the same lines :o)
