Ok, I feel like a complete bonehead because I can't seem to figure this thing out. But, I readily welcome someone making me feel worse by pointing out my simple mistake. I can't get DW to connect to a MySQL database on a new server with which I'm working. I've worked with other servers and haven't had a problem. I'm providing all of the connection and password information so that you can help me - don't worry, I'll change all these once I've solved the problem. BTW, I've also posted this in the Dreamweaver newsgroups but they're not as helpful as this one, so please excuse the fact that this is a ways off-topic.
