Right. It's been a while, but I vaguely remember playing an SMTP class a while back that would actually establish a connection with the remote server and verify whether the address was a valid recipient. Of course, I also seem to recall that it took forever and bogged up a lot on addresses like AOL and MSN. Hehe In other words, I decided it wasn't for me, but it sounds like this guy might benefit from it.
