PS: The answer is, put styles at the top, scripts at the bottom., but there are many other tricks to improve performance. Otherwise, as for the standards, they can go anywhere.

Subject: [PHP] javascript in <head> or in <body> ?

Are there any rules when to include javascript in <head> or in <body> ?
For example,
<script type="text/javascript">
function reload(form)
{  var val=form.Chapter.options[form.Chapter.options.selectedIndex].value;
  self.location='QueryForm.php?Chapter=' + val ;
}
</script>

TIA, Cor
