    That was a typo on my part, but check it out here and you'll see

If you look , you will see that your:

$submit = trim(str_replace('&nbsp;','',$submit);

does not strip out the &nbsp; from the string. B remains with spaces 
on either side -- at least on my browser.

However, the css style A button works great.
