Did you echo the resulting concatenation? Concatenation is surely going to be faster than output... but we're talking about output of data via argument list versus output of data that is first concatenated. It was already ascertained earlier that commas are ONLY useful for echo and print situations... so bearing that in mind did you echo your concatenated result when benchmarking concatenation?
