thats pretty odd.. a quick test on my box, looks like it works fine, phdelnnobbe:~ nnobbe$ telnet host 22 Trying xx.xx.xx.xx... Connected to host. Escape character is '^]'. SSH-2.0-OpenSSH_4.5 again, you may want to consult the docs on your system to hunt down the issue.. -nathan
