You need to make sure you do a session_start at the beginning of each page
example:

First Page:
<?
   session_name(login);
   session_start();
   session_register("Email");
   session_register("Password");
?>
<HTML>

Other Pages:
<?
   session_name(login);
   session_start();
?>
<HTML>
