Not sure what is going on, but try viewing the output of your server via a
text-based telnet (IE Un*x).

telnet yourserver.com 80
GET /index.php HTTP/1.0

Hit return twice after that GET line.

And be ready for the data to come spewing out.  (IE, pipe it to head, or
re-direct to a file or...)

Maybe make that application/octet-stream
